The maintenance of the National System of Qualification and Certification in Corrosion and Protection (SNQC-CP, Sistema Nacional de Qualificação e Certificação em Corrosão e Proteção) consists of complying with the steps described below, according to the criteria of each occupation.
INDUSTRIAL PAINTING INSPECTOR
Maintenance of certification should be performed by the professional in just one step.
Step 1: annually, the professional should pay the certification maintenance fee.
Note: the ABRACO Certification Sector will annually send the certified professionals a slip referring to the maintenance fee for their certification. See “values and fees” for the amounts charged for maintaining the SNQC-CP certification. The bank slip will be sent to the candidates’ restricted area where they will have access through their login (CPF) and password.
PROFESSIONAL FOR ONSHORE CATHODIC PROTECTION
Maintenance of certification should be performed by the professional in two steps.
Step 1: annually, the professionals should pay the certification maintenance fee.
Note: the ABRACO’s Certification Sector will annually send to the certified professional a slip referring to the maintenance fee for their certification. See “values and fees” for the amounts charged for maintaining the SNQC-CP certification.
Step 2: before completing 30 months, counted from the date of certification, the professionals should prove their professional services, by sending documentations that proves 12 months, consecutive or not, of performance in the function that they are certified. This proof can be carried out in one of the following ways:
a) Employee: the copy of the professional card proving an employment relationship and a statement on the company’s letterhead with the CNPJ stamp, specifying the activities carried out in the company (please, send copies of the identification pages with a photo, the civil qualification, the employment contracts and the pages of change of functions, if any, plus the declaration of activities according to the SNQC-CP Professional Experience Declaration Model). The declaration will only be mandatory when the professional activity for which the professional is certified is not specified in the professional card;
b) Self-employed: the copy of the employment contract or RPA with proven payments of the INSS and the statement on the company’s letterhead with the CNPJ stamp (the contract and the declaration of activities according to the SNQC-CP Professional Experience Declaration Model);
c) Own employment: the copy of the company’s social contract and the statement on the company’s letterhead with the CNPJ stamp (the social contract and the declaration of activities according to the SNQC-CP Professional Experience Declaration Model).
Guidelines for sending documents
– The required documents should be sent to the e-mail snqc@abraco.org.br
– Documents should be complete, legible and in pdf format (except 3×4 photo that can be sent in image format – jpg).
Note: we emphasize that the delivery of document files for the Certification Sector should be done by e-mail snqc@abraco.org.br.
HOT-DIP GALVANIZING INSPECTOR
Maintenance of certification should be performed by the professional in two steps.
Step 1: annually, the professionals should pay the certification maintenance fee.
Note: the ABRACO’s Certification Sector will annually send to the certified professional a slip referring to the maintenance fee for their certification. See “values and fees” for the amounts charged for maintaining the SNQC-CP certification.
Step 2: before completing 30 months, counted from the date of certification, the professional should prove the effective provision of professional hot-dip galvanizing inspection services for a minimum period of 6 months, consecutive or not, through documents required by the Certification Sector. This proof can be carried out in one of the following ways:
a) Employee: the copy of the professional card proving an employment relationship and a statement on the company’s letterhead with the CNPJ stamp, specifying the activities carried out in the company (please, send copies of the identification pages with a photo, the civil qualification, the employment contracts and the pages of change of functions, if any, plus the declaration of activities according to the SNQC-CP Professional Experience Declaration Model). The declaration will only be mandatory when the professional activity for which the professional is certified is not specified in the professional card;
